Safe Ministry

St Bart’s Norwood is committed to the Biblical call to care for the vulnerable by actively preventing all forms of harm, abuse, and exploitation. We are also committed to fulfilling our obligations under State and Federal law to protect vulnerable people (including children, the disabled, the elderly, and other potentially marginalised groups). We work hard to ensure that all our environments and activities are safe places for everyone. With sadness we acknowledge that this has not always been the case within the wider church tradition of which we are a part. This motivates us all the more to embed safer ministry principles and practices across all levels of our church leadership and culture.
